1/2/11
As with anything, there's no learning without experience
And so should it be
For life resides not on the peripheral
Doesn't sit on some shelf
But fully immerses and delves
Yet, with any kind of school and schooling
Eventually a graduation takes place
There's a moving on
So to use what's been taught in order to teach
And though one never stops learning
What good is schooling and learning without practical utilization?
Which brings us to the Here and Now
Let's think of the past as the entire world's class
There's been good times and bad
Happy times and struggle
Which has always been considered just the way it is
Yet as time goes on, there's an urging
Not just from without but really from within
To awaken unto, "what's it all about?
To...Who am I, in truth?
To...Who are You, with Me?
To...What is it all for and what are We meant to Be?"
And truthfully, pain and struggle and limitation, we learn
Is not what we wish to teach
For we have learned and are learning, as an understatement, it's been a reach
To believe One is captive to circumstance
That victimization and blame is the name of the game
That what once was, which no longer serves, somehow need remain as so
If life is change, if nothing is stuck
If everyOne is Love and everything is flow
And so, the world is learning and has learned
That something's not right
Has definitely gone awry
That ups and downs need not mean getting caught in the tow
That needing, overly wanting in order to be, need not be at all
If balance is Who All Are
If learning denotes growing
If teaching would instruct fully because it totally Knows
